Mustang A Day Challenge Painting # 307 Amy Flood's Mustang Cody Nevada Wild Horse Range, Nevada

"Amy Flood's Cody"
5 by 7 inches Watercolor
by Linda L Martin Artist
$65.00

In Amy's own words:
"14.1h 17 y/o BLM mustang from the NWHR (Nevada Wild Horse Range) in Nevada. He and Skylar have been together their whole lives...since being gathered in 1998. When I got Cody he was green broke, but had a few issues. He would pull back when tied, balk and rear when being ridden away from home and refuse to move out any faster than a trot. He also could be somewhat aggressive at times - he was a bully in the pasture and would pin his ears and swing his butt towards select people. I don't claim to be a trainer by any means but I have spent a lot of time working with him ...he now respects me (and most other people) as his leader (no more naughty ears), has given up rearing, and ties quite well. I have spent the last couple months riding him regularly and I am incredibly proud of how far he has come!
